iTunes App Store charges sales tax!

WTF!! I guess I’m not very observant. I just now figured this out after actually looking at an iTunes email receipt for the first time. That sucks balls.

What this means is that developers who are using Paypal to compensate for my cost of buying their apps will need to add tax, too. Sorry kids, but hey at least it’s not much $$$. To save you the trouble of doing all the math for adding in Paypal + sales tax, here’s a list of what you need to send me for the lower app prices:

$1.99…… $2.45
$2.99…… $3.70
$3.99…… $4.80
$4.99…… $5.90
$5.99…… $7.00
$6.99…… $8.10
$7.99…… $9.20
$8.99…… $10.30
$9.99…… $11.40

Obviously I’m not looking to “get paid” here, I just don’t wanna be the one who winds up doing the paying.
