iPhone in Korea this year??

Rumors about the iPhone’s release in Korea have been bouncing around for many months now, but to be fair most of those rumors have come from some pretty rinky-dink sources.

I finally found something from Associated Press that says something fairly definitive: “Apple is set to officially begin selling iPhones in China on Oct. 30 and has plans to launch in South Korea during this quarter as well.”

Come on people, make it happen!! I’ve lived in Korea and they’ve got some pretty cool cell phones over there, but I have yet to see anything that can compete with the almighty iPhone.
